RADIO FREE ALICE WASTE OF SPACE

Melbourne-based five-piece Radio Free Alice have released their new single, ‘Waste Of Space’. The band have found themselves described as post-punk, but they approach the genre from a different place, joining modern songwriting with influences from The Clash, The Smiths and The Cure. Guided by a barking punk vocal delivery, being undercut by an impressive lyrical sincerity, ‘Waste Of Space’ is taken from their upcoming self-titled EP, which is out now. “It’s post-punky, but melodic. It’s a collection of some new and some older songs that we felt marked a good place to start.” The band hit the UK in May 2024. -Dan Peeke
